Upcoming readings and speaking engagements

For a change of pace, I mixed my love for sailing with book events in late July on an aquatic tour through the San Juan Islands, north of Seattle. The Wall Street Journal thought it was unusual enough to mention it (see link to the right). After the article came out, the fuel pump broke, the bilge pump broke, the electrical system went haywire, the engine overheated and we were towed into Anacortes. Calamities aside, I didn't miss a reading and the crowds were fun.

Here is the ongoing schedule:

Sep 21 Reading at Echo Bay on Fox Island
Oct 9-10 Readings at Wordstock writers festival in Portland
Oct 24 White Rock, British Columbia
Oct 26 On writers panel at Park Place Books, in Kirkland, WA
Oct 28-30 Reading at Montana Festival of the Book in Missoula, MT
Nov 20 3-6 pm Signing books with Seattle authors, Phinney Ridge
